Retort Machine Operator Ahmedabad

Location: Ahmedabad

Qualifications: B.Sc/B. Tech (Food Science, Food Technology)

Experience : Minimum 2 years experience in Retort food production.

Salary: upto 35k (depending on the right candidate, max can go upto 40k)

Position Summary:
• Implementation & oversight of production, quality control & planning systems.
• Team Management
• Documentation & Reporting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for Plant Process, production, quality control, quality assurance of retorted food products.
• Focus on plant & product process. Manage, analyse and report trends in relation to process.
• Maintain oversight of the process & daily production to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely & thorough manner and confirms to company policy & procedures.
• Planning activities including RM, in process & FG.
• Independently conduct review activities, audits and contribute to closing of gaps in production and quality.
• Liaise, drive and facilitate process & productivity improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned and/or contained in annual gals and objectives.

SKILLS:

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
• Experience in retort processing/production of food . (Very Important)
• Experience in Quality control/ Quality assurance, GMP. (Very Important)
• Detailed understanding of the common processes in production as well as general.
• Strong experience in process control, production, planning & team management.
• Proficiency in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint
